This event covers the new key functionality for Oracle Projects (Projects) R12+ and how Projects integrates within the E-Business Suite. Projected will focus in detail on all the new features we believe are of particular interest to the Oracle Projects community. From R12 there have been a number of important enhancements to key functionality which makes implementing or upgrading to R12+ for Oracle Projects very compelling. All topics will be a mixture of instructor demonstrations and hands on exercises.

We will also cover in detail Project Analytics, the BI Application for Projects. From our implementation experience and expertise, we will demonstrate the key benefits of the application by taking the delegates through the typical process of requesting a new dashboard to building it in Answers. We will refer to Projected’s unique phased approach to implementing and rolling out multiple BI Applications including Project Analytics.

The seminar will also cover the Interfaces of Microsoft Project and PrimaveraP6 with Oracle Projects. Projected will focus on the key data flows between the scheduling tools and the E-Business Suite and setup considerations and dependencies. All interfaces covered in the seminar are part of the standard Oracle product offering and fully supported by Oracle.

Through Projected’s extensive consulting experience, the seminar will provide real life examples and case studies to position the complete and integrated solutions available for organizations using or contemplating Oracle Projects.

Pre- Requisites
You must be familiar with standard financial business processes, and have an understanding of project accounting and the Oracle Projects Suite of applications. It is not essential to be existing users of the Oracle Projects, but it is advised that attendees who are not, familiarise themselves with the functionality on offer in previous releases prior to attending this event.
